Home Hotel Home

This was cute until the draw closed on his hand.
Small yet cruisable was our room. A couple of neat hiding spots were found.
Did love the iHome docking station. This meant we could play Miles' regular lullaby album; nice to have a creature comfort. Odd to feel that an iHome counts as a creature comfort.
The writing desk in our room. Unfortunately, the bulb in our light-up Washington bust had burned out. Bummer.
Miles approves!
Me and a mirror- straight out of Stanley Kubrick's set for 2001: A Decorative Odyssey.
One of the mega lamps in the lobby- there were three or four scattered about. Notice the lighting scheme behind the desk. It definitely felt like a nightclub, esp. at 10 am in the morning.
A chandelier being installed and a small sampling of wallpaper
A decorative high point- the tile work. This is an exterior wall. Same tile is used around the lobby elevators.
The hotel's exterior. No identifying name plate- just 13 separate construction permits tacked up by the front door.

The Washington bust is supposed to be mood lighting for the rooms. Our bulb still worked.
