My new 'do is flip-tastic!

Beats using the diffuser. Guess there is a plus side to having naturally occurring disco hair.

NYC from Grammy and Grandaddy's Camera

The ever-proud Grandaddy

Few more from the hotel lobby, my mom got some nice shots of the oddness.

The grandparents awaiting the star's arrival on the morning of the walk. Nice sofa.
Our big (lobby) arrival; note the cool matching team shirts.
Taa-daa!
Note Miles' hilarious posture in his Grandpa George's arms. Cracks me up.
The reason why we made the trip...
Already out and we had just arrived at Central Park.
The following are the neatest pics of Miles and Uncle Clark:
Might be worthy of submitting to next year's NDSS video, for coolness alone!

Mom & Me
Practicing his own version of "buddy" walking with Grandpa George.

Somebody learned about a new snack...

...thanks to Uncle Clark, popcorn pusher numero uno. We now provide it during at-home snacktime, though it's not the buttery, salty kind from the city vendors. Miles like it just the same. Now, what is the sign for popcorn?

Saturday Afternoon in The Park- Buddy Walk NYC 2009

Opening Ceremony with the MC John C. McGinley
McGinley and fellow actor Chris Burke formally welcome all 96 teams.
The back of our Team Milestones (an obvious choice) t-shirt
And we are off through the park!
Strolling with Dada and Uncle Clark
Over 2,000 walkers in all participated on this glorious (65 degree-ish) day.
Miles refused to get his medal from McGinley, so McGinley dropped it on my head. This is the closest we could get to an actual celeb-opportunity photo because the walk ran all the way through his regular nap time block (11 to 3).

Side note: the medal barely fit over my head. McGinley gave it one good tug and then moved onto the next family. My gourd is big, but I also have most hair ever award to boot.
Champion Miles at the finish line! Do I look proud? I should because I was bursting at the seams.
Group hug with the grandparents.
One of my favorite team shirts. Picked up new design ideas for next year.
"Drums from Heaven" provided the walking music.
Miles wanted to get in on the drumming action.
Clark makes a comment on some interesting paramilitary dudes who crashed our party. I think the camo must have gone to their brains because, clearly, they were not invisible. Upon leaving the party, we saw their encampment and piles of food taken from the Buddy Walk. Lifting from a charity event hardly counts as roughing it.
Dance party revisited.
Uncle Clark and Little Man Miles rocking monocles.

Buddy Walk video- Saturday morning

Our superstar soaring away!
Under the plasma screen, watching the video, tearing up with pride.
Our children, our heroes.
Little Man Miles and Uncle Clark

Times Square squared- Friday

NYC's Finest and Friendliest. Here, our cops typically frown and write tickets. I'm jealous.
And I thought my wedding was unique...
The city that never sleeps can certainly host a good nap!
Like a glowing, pulsing ant farm
Walking back to the hotel
The ultimate game of Dodge Ball, except with taxi cabs and your life!
"So Big"
If only I could decorate my house like this. I totally would because I love trinkets and snow globes like it's my job.
Undercover NYC.
That would be the Toys 'R' Expensive store that Miles completely slept through.
The country mice have arrived to the big city.
We Heart New York, too.
